ABOUT WISA
Women’s Initiative for Self-Actualization is a non-governmental organisation established in 2004 and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development and Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare. Women’s Initiative works in 31 Local Government Areas in Akwa Ibom State and hope to expand to Cross River State in near future. All state programmes have since 2004 been operating as equal partners with equal say on how we operate.
CORPORATE OBJECTIVES
WISA is to promote women's right, gender equality and sustainable empowerment for poor and excluded women, children and youth.
